The University Press of North Georgia recently finished the second round of surveys regarding digitalborn monographs. We surveyed university press directors and editors, and university faculty, administrators, and librarians to gather up information and opinions on peer review and digital born monographs. Details and findings to come.
The University Press of North Georgia hosted a Workshop and Reception on November 16, 2012. The workshop brought together several university press directors from all over the United States to discuss peer review for digitalborn monographs. The workshop is now over, but you can still have your opinions heard! Join the discussion on twitter using the hashtag #UPNGDigiPub.
From the workshop, we developed several new sets of survey questions. These questions were sent to university faculty and administrators, as well as university librarians. The answers to these survey questions hled us to develop a whitepaper on our findings. You can read this whitepaper at http://ung.edu/college-of-arts-and-letters/digital-start-up-grant/index.php
